Enable the Touchpad in Ubuntu for a Dell Vostro:

Find the: /etc/default/grub:

and change:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash“

to:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash i8042.reset“

then do „update-grub“
